Focusing on the sensations of the body and the breath can be very quieting for the body and the mind. This can be done in many ways: in yoga, in silence, with music, or with guidance. Focusing on the present moment experience is often called mindfulness meditation.

This 3-minute breathing space  by Alexandra Milspaw M.Ed, LPG is a great example of guided mindfulness meditation. (by permission)
